The Quorum Learning Centre is available to all employees, based at Quorum, enabling you to access short courses and study programmes right here on the park.  The centre will give you access to a wide range of courses and qualifications allowing you to expand your skills in the work place or achieve your personal goals.

New 2012 Courses...

From April 2012 we will be running a selection of FREE taster courses at Quorum Learning:

Introduction to Microsoft Office Excel
A basic introduction to spreadsheets, creating formulas and look ups as well as setting up basic databases
Wednesday 25^th April

Introduction to Microsoft Power Point & Word
Creating good slides for a presentation.  Using Word, creating a mail merges.
Thursday 3^rd May

Introduction to Marketing
Covering the basics of marketing, how you can improve your business or brand through some basic marketing techniques.
Monday 23^rd April 

Introduction to Social Media
Looking at sites such as twitter, facebook and linkedIn, how they can be used for socialising as well as improving business and brand awareness.
Thursday 26^th April

Introduction to Leadership & Management - Systems
Looking at the use of systems to make people a better leader and how systems can be used to manage and improve the ways people work.
Tuesday 24^th April

Introduction to Leadership & Management – Performance Development Plans
Looking at performance development plans or appraisals and how they can get the best out of people.
Tuesday 1^st May

Introduction to Leadership & Management – An Overview
An overview of L&M looking at the skills needed as a manager, looking at systems to aid managers in their jobs and to manage situations as well as deal with staff.
Wednesday 2^nd May

Introduction to Spanish
Dates still to be confirmed, likely w/c 7^th May

Courses will run 5.30pm - 8.30pm weekdays.  Anyone wishing to take part should email alex.mcvey@quorumbp.co.uk to express an interest in any of the above courses.
